For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a member of the Crime Writers’ Association. It has been going since 1953 and is only open to authors with a traditional publishing contract for a crime novel. They have members all over the world and are famous for awarding the incredibly prestigious Daggers. So today, to be made a member means the world to me. It was a real moment to be sent the members’ logo to use and be given access to the secret on-line areas open only to Crime Writers. They are such a wonderful group of people and everyone has been so lovely. The best thing about it all is I almost feel like I can call myself a crime writer… almost.
